VISIT OF THE GOVERNMENT DELEGATE

On their visit to Šiauliai on 17 June 2006, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania E. Gustas and Vice-Minister M. Skarupskas paid a visit to Putokšnis UAB. The representatives of the Ministry of Economy presented information on the European Union funding programmes, priorities, and funding models for the period 2013 – 2020. The Vice-Minister named such European Union funding trends as research, experimental development and innovation, small- and medium-scale business competitiveness, industrial energy efficiency, and others. Minister E. Gustas expressed his satisfaction that business in Šiauliai actively avail itself of the EU Structural Funds support.
